ITs like for some reason im stuck with being fat forever.!! I wanted to be thin my July 4th and now that wont happen ! THe only way i can lose 20 pounds by then is to fricken starve myself.

Don’t worry. Just because you had a minor setback doesn’t mean you’ll never get there. It’s like pushing a car up the hill. Just because you slip and slide back a little, don’t just let go and make it crash all the way back to the bottom.

If you drop your cellphone, don’t say “oh well it has a scratch so I might as well smash it up and ruin it”. You’ll get there. You will. You’ve got this. You’re strong physically and mentally and you will achieve your goals. It just might take a little more time.

and the healthy way is wayy more fun.

movetovegan:

Today is probably my preparation day for beginning to move in to a vegan diet. I’ve been doing some research, which is apparently the best way to ensure veganism actually works in a healthy way. So I’ve looked up all the basic vitamin or mineral deficiencies that could be a problem (which I…

Wonderful shopping list(: the most important thing, though, is to not worry too much about it & eat a rainbow every day. If you get many different (natural) colours into your diet each day, you’re almost guaranteed to be a-okay with all of your vitamins and minerals.

Oh also you should try making your own OJ because most store-bought is loaded with sugar and calories… and you should never drink your calories! ;D

P.S. if you don’t aready drink it, try green tea. Healthy, delicious, and with so many health benefits! (Boosted metabolism, lowers cancer rate, helps fat loss, etc.)

fattypolitic:

How many people by now have no idea that eating more fruits and vegetables, lean protein, and drinking plenty of (unpolluted) water is better for you than processed food?

I know it. Everyone knows it.

What these arrogant shits who keep aiming to “teach low income people” is…

So after I receive my undergrad in human nutrition and my certification as a dietitian,

I’m applying to the global health corps to go abroad and do volunteer work having to do with health and nutrition YO

so glad i found this oh my gOD

itspronouncedlikeitssaid: campus to another within 12 minutes (the standard time between classes, if you have them back-to-back, which rarely happens). no subways, all buses. but CABS is free, and COTA is free with your student ID. sorry it took so long to answer these questions (and that it took 3 asks to do so) - but feel free to ask if you have anymore!

Wow thank you so so much! All of your asks were so helpful and informative. Thank you! I love hearing your first-person experiences  because lets face it… any school website is usually full of bullshit. xD

amber-osupro: read your "letter to OSU" about art requirement... just take a summer course from your local city college. one semester there counts for a year of high school course. Also, many colleges have an art elective requirement so you should figure out a plan or reassess your academic schedule (ie. did you take dance for PE? can you count that as art since there is no P.E. course requirement on the application) with your counselor about it. This one year requirement is very common on apps. Good luck!

Thanks!
